Starting your day with 20g protein 🙌

Cheryl’s Banana Smoothie

Growing up my best friend’s Mum, Cheryl made the best banana smoothies. This is my version to inspire all my clients to reach their daily protein needs.

Ingredients:
🍌 Frozen bananas
🍌 1/4 pea protein powder
🍌 Tbsp 💯 peanut butter
🍌1 tsp chia seeds
🍌 Local honey
🍌 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
🍌 1/2 tsp nutmeg
🍌 1 cup liquid (milk of your choice or I just add water)

Pop in blender and sprinkle with extra nutmeg and chia seeds. So easy my 7year old twins make their own.

Affordable Tips:
Coles supermarket pea protein $10 for 500g, 1/4 cup = 20g 💥
Aldi 💯 peanut butter, 1 tbsp = 4.5g protein.

Pink Bottle Brush too pretty not to share. Just a reminder that Friday the 15th December will be my last day in clinic until the 5th January. My sister and her beautiful family are coming out from England. 4.5years have passed since we have seen them. We have lots of hugs, memories to make and adventures to make up for. This time is really special for my family so I will be on leave, emails will wait and the clinic phone will be off (even SMS). The valley has quickly turned from a parched landscape to a lush velvety green sea after the recent rains. The little creeks are once again crystal clear, running and our tanks are full. My lazy Wednesday lunch. Struggling to hold this exploding rainbow of veggie goodness in my hand. I always go on and on about protein and more veggies with clients, sorry not sorry. I always add some chicken amongst that rainbow salad. Honestly most of us are struggling with getting enough protein. It helps curb our sugar cravings and that energy slump which usually hits us in the afternoon. Why do sandwiches always taste better when someone else makes them?
