Today we went blueberry picking in a hidden little valley in Bucca complete with a little dam that is home to some curious turtles. The kids loved playing in the towering bushes on the search for the biggest blueberry. If your coming out to the clinic I recommend you pick up some blueberries on your way home.
Suggestions:
- Take water, we left ours in the fridge at home 🙁
- Go early to avoid the humidity
- Watch out for the large ants which have a nasty bite
- Take cash ($10 per kilo)
- They have buckets you can borrow but take something to bring your blueberries home in to save plastic bags.
